Cookies & Local Storage
Last updated: 16 June 2026
This page explains the small pieces of data Navier keeps in your browser. The short version: we use cookies and local storage only to keep you signed in and to protect the app. We do not use analytics, advertising, or cross-site tracking cookies. For the full picture of how we handle your personal data, see our Privacy Policy.
1.Essential — always on
These are required for Navier to work. They are first-party (set by Navier itself) and store no advertising or tracking identifiers. Because they are essential to a service you asked for, they are always set when you use the app.
| What | Where | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Your sign-in session | browser localStorage (set by our auth provider, Supabase) | to keep you securely signed in across pages and tabs without re-entering your password |
App state (navier_* keys) | browser localStorage / sessionStorage | to remember your active workspace, load your score quickly, and carry an in-progress assessment until you claim it at signup |
2.Functional — security & payments
These are set by trusted providers we use to run essential parts of the service. They are not used to profile you or serve advertising.
| Provider | What it does |
|---|---|
| hCaptcha | verifies you're human on our forms and defends against bots — it may set its own cookies to tell humans from bots |
| Dodo Payments | handles checkout when you upgrade a plan — its cookies operate only on its secure payment pages, where your card/UPI details are entered directly with Dodo |
3.No tracking or advertising cookies
Navier uses no third-party analytics, no cross-site tracking pixels, and no ad-retargeting networks. We do not sell your data and we do not track you to serve targeted advertising. If this ever changes, we will update this page and ask for your consent before we do so.
4.Managing what's stored
You can clear Navier's browser storage at any time from your browser settings (clear cookies and site data for navier.in). Doing so will sign you out and reset your local app state. Note that blocking the essential storage above will prevent the app from keeping you signed in. Deleting your account from Account → Danger Zone erases your server-side data as described in the Privacy Policy.
